Here’s a simple marking step in the rhythm of twelve.
Add this step to a choreography, or use it as a body technique exercise.

Some notes on the body:
Bring the arms up the center of your body leading with the elbows.
Draw a circle with the right arm.
Rotate the hand out as the arm comes down and in as you bring the arm up.
Turn head toward the right corner as the arm comes down and right foot steps out.
Quickly bring the head back to the front as the arm comes up and foot steps back in.
Bring both arms down the side keeping the elbows prominent.
Rotate the hands out then in.
Steps & Counts:
12 mark forward with the right foot
1 hold
2 hold
3 bring the right foot back
4 hold
5 hold
6 step back with the left foot
7 hold
8 step back with the right foot
9 hold
10 step back with the left foot
